~Anyone got it? It's great. Tom Grummet pencils it. He originally created Superboy with Karl Kesal (think that's his name). Even though he penciled, his art work cannot be fully appreciated unless it is inked by Doug Hazelwood (also think that's his name). Good story Some spoiler's below
~Cissie and Greta are in it!! An there's a reference to the Red Tornado. Cassie tries to get into the school Cissie goes to, an gets in! An not much else worth reveiling.

MAN THAT WAS GREAT!! I was so happy to see Greta and Cissie back with Cassie! You can't split up a great trio of girls like that! They should make it a quartet and bring in Anita!
I liked the heart to heart that Kon and Clark had, though I was disapointed with Kon's reaction to getting Krypto from Clark. I mean, he was kind of mean to Krypto. I know, I'd be thrilled to get a freakin' cool dog like Krypto!
>Bullies of the neighborhood beware! My dog can blast you with heat vision!<

~Well, Kon already had a dog called Krypto, and it was always attacking him and stuff. (They didn't get along) He also met a other Superboy in a differet dimension and was attacked by a super powered dog called... yep, you guessed it, KRYPTO! So I guess he just dosn't like dog's named Krypto.

Well... that would explain his attitude with Krypto... Still... I like Krypto far too much and thus I hit Kon on the nose with a newspaper for being mean to him.

But I think that this is Geoff Johns' idea. The kid is already showing some of Clark's powers and now the krypto thingy... I kinda like it...

I think that Kon needs to have Krypto. He is becoming a better hero. And Clark is right that Kon is ready for more responsibility. And what better than to have the resposibility of a dog. A creature that you need to take care off.
When Kon was on his own, he didn't have any purpose. He'd save the world and stuff, but nothing more than that. He didn't go to school, didn't have anything remotely close to normal in ways of friends and family. Now in Smallville, he has a family and a normal life outside of the costume. He's finally getting a chance at the childhood he never had.
And he is in no way like Clark was as a kid. Kon is more brash, emotional, and he has an attitude to no end. Clark was more or less a boyscout.

It's true though.
Superboy saved the world, sure, but he didn't have any other direction. He didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. He assumed that he would take over for Superman, but even Clark has a job and life outside of the costume. Not one super-hero is just that. They all have other things going on for them.
Even the Martian Manhunter is a police detective. Kon needed some direction.

Yeah... I know... It was funny. Kind of a contradiction. But I was trying to make a point.
