The S.T.A.R Lab's jet arrived in Gotham Airport shortly after Nightwing's funeral. Its sole two occupants exited the jet. The woman was Doctor Lorna Gellar, a beautiful young woman with long black hair and deep hazel eyes.
The man was... Well he didn't know. But currently he went by John. He was in his mid-twenties, with unruley black hair and sparkeling blue eyes. Currently he was seated in a wheelchair.
"Stop fidgeting..." the docor told her patient.
"Sorry," John said with a half smile. "But I'm going crazy in this chair. I'm telling you I can walk just fine."
"John, I have never seen a man with your kind of injuries," she said with a scowl. "and I worked in a Hospital in Hell's Kitchen. I don't think..." but it was too late and John was already standing up. He could feel himself feeling a bit nausious but his legs held. Lorna looked at him in shock.
"What?"
"I knew you were remarkable healthy and in shape, but a man with your injuries should still be in a chair for months."
"Guess I'm a fast healer..." he said smiling.
"So where do we start?" Lorna asked, giving the chair back on the jet.
"I-I don't know," John said uneasily. "I can't remember..."
"Well lets go into the city and get something to eat," she suggested. John's face broke into a wide smile.
"Sounds like a plan."

The pair's taxi drove through Gotham with John looking out the window in a pensive look.
"Remember anything?" Lorna asked.
"Nothing," he said quietly. He turned to her and smiled. "Thanks for helping me with everything and all..."
"Think nothing of it," she replied. "But if my fiance finds me conforting hansome men with no memory he'd flip."
"You're engaged?" he asked with a frown.
"Um... yeah..." she suddenly felt a pit guilty and held up her hand with a large diamond ring.
"Don't know how I missed that..." he said laughing. She smiled back at him.
"I didn't mean to lead you on..." she said quickly.
"You didn't," he told her honestly. "You're not my type."
"Excuse me?" she said in mock suprise. "How do yu even know what your type is?"
"Don't get me wrong you're beautiful, but..." he looked out the window. "You just aren't right."

They arrived in a small resturant near Robinsion Park. Lorna looked expectantly at John hoping for a look of realization. None came.
As they were half way through there meal, 'John' looked up at the Wayne Tower, which could be seen from their table's winder.
"What is it?" Lorna asked hopefully. "Remember something."
"huh?" John looked back at Lorna. "What? Oh! Sorry... I was just thinking... That building is kind of ugly..." he said with a smirk. Lorna punched his shoulder while laughing.
"Don't let Bruce Wayne hear you say that. He might sue you." John looked at her in confusion. 'Bruce Wayne?' Did he know him?
"What is it?"
"Nothing..." he said softly...

After dinner John and Lorna took a walk through Robinson Park.
"It is so amazing how they've been able to rebuild this city..." Lorna said gently.
"Huh?"
"Oh right," she said smaking her forhead. "A little over a year ago Gotham was hit by a earthquack and was shut down. They were able to repair and re-open it not long ago."
John nodded, but his attention was taken away by two shapes moving in the night sky. "What is that?"
Lorna looked at where he pointed. "Oh! I-I don't know... Maybe it's Batman..." she said playfully.
"Who?"
"Urban legend. Never mind." she said. "It was probably nothing..."

Falcon and Robin landed on a nearby rooftop, still searching for where they were supposed to go. In many ways, it reminded her of her first day of High School when she was a freshman. LOL. Falcon surveyed they crowd on the streets below, real quick. She spotted Dick, who was supposed to be dead, and froze. Her eyes widened. She couldn't POSSIBLY be seeing what she was seeing. Yet, there he was, standing on the corner of the street with a young woman. Had the 'All Seeing Oracle' seen this yet? She had eyes eveywhere, how could she possibly not.

"Barbara..." Tim said into the com-link not noticing Rachel's look down to the streets below. He hated the idea of hurting Oracle.
"I'M FINE ROBIN!" she snapped. She hated being pittyed.
"But..."
"What do you want?" she snarled into the com.

>If this is interfering with your plans in any way, just tell me and I'll modify it.< "Um...Guys? You might want to see this..." Rachael looked at the nearby street number. "Oracle, Try to get into a camera and get a look at the corner of Dixon and Leob avenue." (I noticed in the books, they'll sometimes name streets or docks or whatever after the Bat-title writters and artist ;D ) "That way I KNOW I'm not going insane."

'John' couldn't help but feel a bit odd about the shadows that flew across the gotham sky. But still... It was probably nothing.
"Taxi!" Lorna shouted.
The two of them got into the taxi and headed back to their hotel. And all the while John kept looking up to the sky for more signs of the mystrious shadows of Gotham.

Oracle sighed. "Why can't they just leave me alone!" she thought to herself.
Hacking her way into a secerity camera at a cash machine, Oracle back to look for what Rachel was talking about.
She froze as she found it.
"Oh god..."
There was Dick Grayson entering a taxi with a beautiful young woman. Could she be dreaming? Could this be real.
********************* Robin looked down to were Rachel pointed but all he saw was a taxi pulling away from teh street corner.
"What is it Falcon?"

"I...I don't." Falcon rubbed her eyes with her hand. "Good Lord. I must be delusional. I haven't slept all week just about, I couldn't have possibly seen..." Falcon let out a tired and frustrated sigh. "O? Do you see anything on the security cams?" Rachael knew she would probably rewind it after the 'ghost' of Dick had gotten into the Taxi to before then. If nothing was on the tapes...she was reserving herself a place at Arkam.

Oracle stared at the screen tears in her eyes. She didn't even hear Rachel's reply. It couldn't be Dick... Could it?
"Wayne Tower," was all she said as she cut the com-link. Instantly she began to type away at her keyboards, trying to find out all she could about the mysterious girl and the man who looked like Richard John Grayson.
********Meanwhile...*************
Robin felt completely lost. What were they talking about?
"I um... guess that was where Bruce wanted us to meet him..." he said aloud. He turned back to Rachel who hadn't moved an inch from her spot.
"Falcon... Rachel... What did you see?"

Falcon looked like she had just seen a ghost(Well duh.). "Tim...your not going to believe this, but I saw...I saw Dick!" Rachael looked at him, her eyes filled emotion. Maybe she really WAS loosing it.

Robin looked at Falcon in suprise. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing would come. Until finally...
"That isn't funny..." he growled at her. He turned and fired a D-cell line at the Wayne Tower and leapt off. He couldn't help himself, he was furious. Was that Rachel's idea of a joke? He thought he knew her better than that.
*******Meanwhile********
'John' and Lorna arrived at their hotel room and said their good-nights. Lorna felt as if the entire trip was a bust as she lay down in her bed. She wished that her fiance was there. All she wanted to do was curl up next to him and everything would be right with the world.
Meanwhile, 'John' didn't go to bed like Lorna had. Instead he stepped out onto the Balcony. He looked over the city and felt like it was completey alien to him. Maybe Tara was wrong about Gotham... Maybe he didn't have a home or a family or friends...
Why couldn't he remember who he was? Why was he captured by the man called Dominion? Who was he?

"Ti--Robin! I'm not joking!" Falcon yelled as she followed him, still in shock. "I'm not some sicko! I know what I saw!" Falcon caught up with him. She had improved her agility and her other skills greatly in the past few months and it suprised even her. She let go of her line and threw a new one to another building, grabbing ahold of Robin as she did so. "IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, YOU CAN CALL ORACLE BACK AND ASK HER WHAT SHE SAW!!" Rachael wasn't mad at Tim, she'd probably think the same thing. She was just on the verge of a nervous breackdown. She landed on the gothic ledge of a old cathedral and finnaly let go of of Tim, stepping back a good ways. "Please Tim. You've GOT to believe me." A single tear fell from her face.

Robin met Falcon with a cold stare. Tears were once again falling from his eyes. This had to be some sort of sick joke.
"Later." came his reply. He wanted to hold her and just forget about everything that was happening. He wanted to just wake up and find out the past week was a dream. He couldn't handle this being a mistake. He couldn't hold on the illusion that Dick was alive and turn out he wasn't.
But he couldn't say anything more than, "We've got a job to do."
