Ok, I know this review's overdue, but I just saw the movie. Ok so here's what I thought: First off, I think this was one of the best animated Batman movies I've seen. The animation was good, the storyline kept me guessing throughout the beginning, the fact that it used older villains and followed the comics fairly well, everything. I liked it. I didn't love the sound track, but I'm not a big fan of the singing in movies most of the time and I think that Mask of the Phantasm tops all in music. Next up will have some spoilers, so don't read it if you haven't seen it: I loved it that there were three IDs for Batwoman. That was cool and actually I didn't see it coming till amost when they revealed it. I'm sure most of you already noticed that Kathy DuKane was a lot like the Batwoman in the 60s comics "Kathy Kane". It discusses that in the special features too, so I won't go into it. Also like the 60s, I remember a comic from the 60s where the villain was three people ich reminded me of the movie. ANYWAY I liked the overall feel and the way Bruce turned out. Very good. There's the pros. The cons: Rupert Thorne did nothing. He was like a stand in. He wasn't smart, he was a well-dressed thug. The singing bugged me. Can they not get through a Warner Brother's movie without singing? And then the other thing was Bane. Every sentence was "Senior Bat" or "Die, amigo". I mean I know that Bane's spanish originally, but come on! Other than that I really enjoyed it. I'd give it 8/10.

Finnaly! See? I told you it was a good movie.
At least they placed the song at an appropriate moment instead of one when there SHOULDN'T be any music. I likes the background music(Classical) much better cause you hardly knew it was even there.
Yeah, when I first saw the movie, I was dead set that Batwoman was Rocky actualy and that Kathy might have been a red herring...until the movie progressed, that is.
Yeesh, I've watched the movie so many times that I even know the script somewhat.
The special features were good, most special features make e want to fall a sleep, but THIS didn't!
Kevin Conry does an awesome Batman. Hmm....if they dyed his hair black, he might even make a good Batman in the movies. At least better than Ashton Kutcher! Loved who they chose for the voices of the Batwomen.
BTW, what did you think of the short film 'Chase Me'?

Yeah. I was talking about the singing in Penguin's club. The classical music was good. The special features were awesome! So was Chase Me, but I was going to make a seperate review for it.

And the lowly poster is freaked. *LOL* Anyway, I finally saw the movie too and thought it was cool. I kinda thought Batgirl would turn out to be some cartoon version of Cassandra Cain, which woulda been cool, but I was pleased with the three Batgirl thing. And it was great cause it didn't feel like a Mary Sue. Think about it: Mary Sue Batgirls have the resourses, fighting skills, computer skills, and the motive. It's impossible to believe one girl capable of ALL those things at the same time on their own. Put THREE girls together, however, and they each bring their own skills to the table and help each other out. It's brilliant. I wish I had thought of it! :-P Oh well.
