(Takes place after "Time Tour.") Robin stood outside the Titans Tower awaiting some early morning visitors. Recently the Teen Titans ran into a young man who had been able to create a power ring very similar to that used by the Green Lanterns. While the kid had amazing powers, the fact still remained that he did not have any proper training and knew nothing about the powers he weilded. Robin had agreed to allow the media named Teen Lantern to join the Teen Titan's on a temporary basis. One of the requirements though was that he recieve proper training from a mentor. Using his JLA connections and the help of Oracle, Robin had gotten a hold of both the JLA Green Lantern, John Stewart and Allen Scott AKA Sentinel of the JSA. Both of them had extensive careers as Green Lanterns and agreed to meet with the new kid who believed that he had what it took to be a Lantern. Robin had also contacted the other Green Lantern: Kyle Rynder and his girlfriend Jade, but both were too busy to assist. "Hey down there!" shouted a deep brooklynn accent. Robin looked up to see two green energy trails headed towards him. In the lead was a black man in a black and green Lantern's uniform. Following close behind was a middle-aged blonde man in a red,green, and purple uniform. "Glad you could make it," Robin said as John Stewart and Allen Scott landed before him. "Not a prob kid," John said smiling, his normally brown eyes were exploding with green energy. Robin and John didn't know each other very well, but John had always held great respect for the Batman's young partners. "Things have been quiet up at he JLA Watchtower." "So where's this newbie you want us to meet?" Allen asked shaking Robin's hand. "Superboy said he was on his way here," Robin replied. "But I warn you, Jay is a handful." "We already had to put up with Guy Gardner kid," John said with a shrug. "Well I warned you..." Robin said. "He should be here soon. I'll be inside if you need me." Robin the spun around on his heels and left the two Lanterns alone to await TL. |

(i had asked that to archer but i didnt get a reply so whatever eh?)
In a feld of green energy T.l landed in front of the two Green lanterns. He looked like he was fighting the urge to get their autographs.
"Hi you two must be teh green lanterns Robin agreed to have meet with me as a mentor. Well...obviously you are...and im just gonna e quite before i start rambling."
(THis is gonna be a long day for those two)

"Good idea..." Allen said, while stepping forward and offering TL his hand. "Scott Allen, thats John Stewart." He nodded towards John.
"So Robin tells us you've come across some super-powers like ours?" John said crossing his arms, his eyes glowing bright green.

"Well more or less yeah." He said shaking Allen's hand Everyone has that one hero they like the most. Most people like superman or the flash or something. I've always admired the green lanterns. You guys'd kick superman's ass any day of the week." T.l Insisted. "Anyway i wanted to be just like you another green lantern. I spent a lot of time using what i came across at my father's lab at lexcorp to try and create a power ring like yourse but it was missing something. ITs a good thing i love archeology or i might never have found the artifact that adds power to the technology in the ring. according to legend it is supposed to be able to 'make thoughts reality' after integrating it with my ring i found it finally worked so i've been trying to gain racognition as a new green lantern...unfoutunetly the media prefers the name 'teen lantern'." He said to them both calmly alhtough clearly proud of his accomplishment.

"Interesting..." John said. "Still, I think it might be a good idea to take that ring to Oa and have the Guardians take a look at it." Sentinel nodded in agreement.
"Good idea," Allen said smiling. "We don't know what the long term effects of the ring could have you Jay."
"All right kid," John said after a moment. "Why don't you show us what you can do first?"
(Shinobi, do you want to get someone else to continue playing Allen and John? I don't know near enough about Green Lantern to play this properly.)

"Yeah sure." Tl said grinning eager to show his stuff. He lifted himself into the air Via his ring created a few basic constructs like fists and battering rams then a cigar. "Do you mind if i dont smoke?" he asked doing his grocho marx impression. Then he created a tie. "Get no respect no respect at all." Then he went for a difficult one trying to make a construct of Muhammud ali on the ground. it vanished soon after it was made. "That still takes some time...basic thins i can make easily. Well whenever you guys wanna go to that Oa place is good with me." 'man i hope that was at least somewhat impressive.' he thought to himself. 'i shoulda tried harder i know i can do better but i woulda needed a situation.'

"Uh, huh." said John Stewart almost as if he didn't care, "You can do the basics," said John as he created a small bomb shape.
"That bomb that John just made is capable of leveling Titan tower, and I'm being serious." said Allan.
"I'lll demonstrate." said John as he put more power into it making it swell, "In 3 seconds it'll blow."

"You aint got the stones." Tl said coming to a landing in front of the two older lanterns. "After all from this range the bomb'ed take you with the tower. Plus you dont do killing."

"Heh," laughed John, "Me and ALan could make shields around everyone in here that could stop this thing, I know you couldn't."
"However that won't be neccessary." said Alan as he Fired a beam of green light at the bomb that John created, "The shield that I put around it is powerful enough to contain the explosion." Alan said as the bomb exploded making the floor shake but causing no physical damage to anyone.
"You on the other hand couldn't do that, we can also use these rings* to move at the speed of light in space, you can't do that yet, that's what we;re gonna teach you."

"That's why we're here." said Alan smiling, "We're going to teach you everything we know, we'll teach you 'til you turn Green."
"Though personally I can't right now, I've got to meet someone, I'll be back though." said John as he began hovering, "Take care Teen Lantern."

(He used to have a power ring, but it was destroyed during Zero Hour. But his long exposure to his ring instilled the green power in his body.)

"First things first you're Teen Lantern 'til your training's done," he said smiling, "Seond we start with mental training, "The Green Lantern power rings are powered by your imagination, which means that you must have a powerful mind, your constructs stay constructed 'til you tell them not to be. You control the power but it's hard to wield."
