Two or three years later....Teen Titans: In colledge!
Falcon watched in horror as Robin dived into the flames to rescue the formula that would save hers and Nightwings life. "TIM!" She cried out and did her best to struggle away from Shinobis grasp.
Seconds later, Robin crawled out of the flames with the disk. He was alive--but his face...
Rachael felt tears well up in her eyes. Looked like the future Titans had been right after all."No....NO." ~~~~~~~~~ 'NOOOOO' Rachaels mind screamed as she bolts up from the spot where she had drifted assleep on the couch in Oracles place.
She sighed and ran a hand through her now chin-length cut brown hair (See Mayday Parkers look....for anyone who reads Spidergirl) as she sat up on the couch, propped up by her left arm.
She looked around the tower cautiously. She was eighteen, graduating from highschool tomarrow. She was relieved. They had managed to change history all those years ago. Tim still had his sight and voice, Nightwing and Superboy were still alive...She felt greatful.
But, tomarrow would be another turning point for her life. After the summer she would be off to, yup, college. A three hour drive from Gotham to Dover and even then, she wasn't sure if she'd get the chance to visit the Titans or Young Justice...they REALLY needed to change their name soon, or go out on patrol for long.
After checking the school out, it would be a VERY busy life for the next year. A vocattional college. No science, or english: Just art. Usualy working till midnight.
She looked to where the kung-fu movie she had been watching still played and frowned as she turned it off.
She was thrilled about starting college, but even less so about having time to spend with her friends and Tim. Tomarrow would mark the begining of her life as an adult.
Babs was basicly kicking her out befoe she got married to Dick. Finnaly.
She sighed and looked at the clock. The gotham Knights had started doing patrols in shifts. Meaning, Robin would just be getting off of his patrol now.
"Robin, you there?" She asked as she turned on here com-link.

>>You can play everyone. Unlike the others, THIS is a group fiction, not a mini rpg. Have fun! I'll try to post a part of the story as well later.<<

"I'm here. What is it?" came Robin's low growl, as he tied up the last of Black Mask's lackies. In the distance he could hear the GCPD sirens drawing closer towards the Mansion that had been used for Black's Mask's base.
Things had more or less remained the same over the last few years for the Robin. Now a second year criminology college student at Gotham State, Timothy Drake was still doing the cape and mask bit. Frankly that still suprised him some. He had always expected to give up the life of a vigilante. Yet it was three years later and he was still going out and putting his life at risk.
But as the saying goes, 'change is inevtiable.' Falcon was off to college and Nightwing and Babs were getting hitched. Not bad or anything, but still it was kind of wierd.

Rachael winced. Nope. Definetly not in a good mood. "Um...just wanting to know if you were done with patrol yet....But I'm guessing you've run into some trouble?"

Robin shook his head as he raced out of the Manor and to where he had hidden his motorcycle. He had spent the last few weeks tracking down Black Mask and after all that, the main crook had slipped his grasp. Though at least Black Mask's operation was offically over for now. It would take some time for the the boss man to get back together.
"Sorry Falcon," Robin said still in a low tone. "Black Mask got away from me." He put his helmet onto his semi-long wavy black head and started up the engine as he sped back to his apartment in the city.
After graduation from high school, Tim and his pal Ives had gotten their apartment together. Bruce had offered to help pay for it, but Tim refused. He wanted to do this on his own. But he was sure not to tell that to Ives or his dad.
"So what's up?"

Rachael frowned on her side of the line, pulling up a chair to the towering computers. "I'm working an angle on an 'Chi-Ice' drug case. There hasn't been any loadings at the piers and its deffinitely not a native Gotham drug, but somehow its appearing on the streets. So far, I have nada on the case. Other than the fact that it originates from the east." She stretched her fingers and yawned."Hopefully I'll have it wrapped up before 'the move'." She said, indicating her moving the three hours to a small town right outside of Manhatten. Gotham had been her home for the last four years, she was going to miss it.

"I haven't heard anything from my contacts either. Wherever this stuff is coming from, they are keeping low profile," Robin said, as his bike sped through the morning traffic. The Sun had just begun to raise in the east.
Robin turned sharply on 50th street and then right into a narrow alleyway. At the end of the alleyway, the wall dropped into the ground revealling a hidden passageway.
This had been set up by Batman when Tim and Ives moved into the building, so that Robin could hide some transportation near by.
Robin then climbed up the wall of the building and once he reached the roof, he opened the skylight that led into his bedroom. Thankfully Ives was still asleep in he room and didn't hear Tim's arrival. Also Tim had his own room sound proofed.
Bruce had never been thrilled with Tim living with someone else, saying it was too dangerous for the secret. But it had now been a year and Ives was none the wiser.
"So you're really leaving Gotham, huh?" Robin said pulling off his mask and taking off his cape.

>>Soory it took me so long. Probably offline now. Argh! Mom said she would be on for only, like, five minutes and then she stays on an hour and a half.<<
"Yeah...I guess so. But hey, I'll be back on vacation days and on the weekends." She said as she continued to bring up the research for the 'voluntary' assignment she needed fr her last day of school.
Truth was, it stinked that she was going to be busy most of the time and it was a three hour drive to her adoptive 'home town'. Not allot of free time left outside of school, asssignments, and patrols.
She hated the idea of leaving. "And its not like its forever." She added as she printed her report.

>>Wait... when is Falcon supposed to go to college? Is she still in high school or is she supposed to start college the next day?<<
"True," Robin said pulling on a pair of boxer shorts and falling back onto his bed. He could probably get about an hour of sleep before needing to 'wake up' again.
"So you looking forward to starting college?" he asked reaching for his first-aid kit and fixing up a small scrath on his arm from earlier.
He looked up at his dresser where he had a bunch of photos set up. There was a photo of his dad, Dana and his three year old brother Kurt. Then there was one of him and his 'other' family, Bruce, Dick, Alfred, Dinah, Babs, Rachel, Cassandra, and himself. Finally there was his favorite picture of his first trip to the circus where he and his parents had their photo taken with the Flying Grayson.
So much had changed since that picture had been taken.
>>By the way... Can we wrap up the 'Titan's of the Future' story soon. I don't know about you, but I'm getting kind of bored with it. Seems too much like a soap opera rather than super-hero story now.<<

>>Graduates tomarrow. THAT way we have a chance tohve them go against a big baddie or something. And Tims already a third year student? And just curious: What did you have in mind to have 'changed'<<
"I guess..." Rachael shrugged as she yawned again and looked at the couch longingly, want to drift back off to sleep.
Why did things have to change? She knew it was a vital part to life, nessisary to get her where she wanted to go, and a learning expierience within itsself, but sometimes....change seemed to come all to quickly and in a blink of an eye.
>>Yeah, I know what you mean. I was thinking of having a 'return of joker' or at least his old assisstant Harley Quin storyline, the Ivy one just doesn't interest me anymore. And it IS getting a bit dramatic at the moment... Sure. Lets wrap it up. <<
