Well first off, Carrie Kelly's character might not even exist in the mainstream DC Universe. The Dark Knight Returns series was only considered to be an elseworld storyline.
And that's a good point Jake. One that I was trying to make earlier. The Bat-Clan is being overrun by the female vigilantes. Now, I'm all for female empowerment, but not at the cost of my favorite male hero.
And I never liked the idea of female Robin. I never liked Carrie Kelly nor when Stephanie Brown was Robin in that 'alternate-reality' that Bedlam created. And Carrie gave up being Robin to be Cat-girl or whatever she called herself.
Robin was always a boy's character. It was created by Dick Grayson as an memory to the nickname that his mother gave him as a child. Every offical Robin has been a boy character (Niether Carrie nor Stephanie count because they were elseworld Robins). And why should Tim have to retire as Robin? He's 16. Dick was Robin until he was 20.
SAVE TIM DRAKE AS ROBIN!!!

Robin Issue 135 Spoilers below
Through my sources, I've found out what is supposed to cause Tim Drake to give up being Robin Folks....
Apparently SOMEONE (I'm thinking Tim's dad or perhaps Dana) finds out that he Robin and as a result Tim is forced to give up the costume in order to protect the rest of the clan. But to try and keep the baddies from discovering Batman has lost another Robin, Bruce will bring in a new partner to replace Tim. Though of course who the mystery replacement is still unknown except for the fact that it will be a girl to wear the red, green and yellow. And whoever it is, won't be making Batman's job very easy.
This still ticks me off to no end! I pray to the Powers that Be, that this is all just a horrible prank or just some odd temporary storyline.

Darn, she's blonde, oh well, that ruins my "maybe it's Batgirl" theory.

I never thought it was going to be Batgirl. Cassandra has her own costume identity and comic book. Why would they have her take Robin's? But unfortunately she does look a bit like... >Shudders< Stephanie Brown AKA Spoiler... Ugh... Easy stomach... On the other hand she also looks a bit like Wonder Girl too... >Shakes head< Okay that would be just plain stupid and make absolutely NO sense what so ever... I think that is the only way they could make the situation worse. Not only loosing Tim, but having Stephanie replace him. God... why do I have the feeling this is really going to suck...

It might not be too bad, and the reason I thought it might be Batgirl is because she recently got fired. Batgirl fired, Robin quitting, what is it with these batpeople!

Nope. It WILL be bad. Don't want Stephanie Brown as Robin. She doesn't deserve it. And yeah, Batgirl got fired, but why would she want to take Robin's costume? Batman fired Cassandra. If he won't let her be Batgirl what chance in hell would he let her take over Robin? Though I do agree it sucks. Both Batgirl and Robin being forced out of costume... Grrrrr.....

True, don't think she would make that good of a Robin anyway, she fits BG so much better. Wonder if she's gonna get that scaley sonic the hedgehog costume again lol.
