(Um... Crow broke the hammers, by phasing through them and shorting out the electronics... but I guess I'll write around it... Speaking of which, are the Sentiel's robots or humans?)
Nightdevil rolled with Doom's attack, and though he'd have a nice looking bruise, there'd be no permanent damage. Of course that didn't apply the to sonic blaster. The devise was doing a horrible number of his radar sense and he fell to the ground screaming in agony.
Crow on the other hand had phased under the saftey of the ground going un-noticed the the others. He suddenly phased up from behind the leader and while holding a stone in his hand threw his fist into Doom's head.
"I suggest that you tell you men to stand down, before you're head becomes heavier," Crow growled using the 'voice.' His eyes were hidden behind his green domino mask and was dark and frightening.
"And I wouldn't suggest that you try anthing funny buster, because if I loose concentration for even a second, my hand and the rock I'm holding will solify in you head and kill you instantly."
"NOW. STAND. DOWN."

(My bad i should have specified, Keepers are guys in armored suits, and Sentinel Hammers are guys in huge, bulky, robot suits, sorry didn't where Crow took them out.)
Doom smiles, looking at Crow. "Go ahead. Do it! I'm not stopping you."
Rage's eyes go wide with suprise as he glances at Doom while taking out the sonic disruptors. "Crow, phase out of him now! He's adapting to your power, that's why he's not fighting back!"
(We should probably wait for everyone else to get in on the fight.)

(Good idea Marx. But one question: how can Doom adapt to Crow's powers? Since Robin joined with Shadowcat, he can become completely intangible, meaning his molecules are out of phase with this level of reality. He's got the properties of a ghost basically. It kind of hard to adapt to something that technically isn't there. It isn't like he's shooting Doom with a lazer or actually hitting him. I'm not trying to be difficult I'm just wanting to understand what is going on with your character is all.)

(I read an issue of Wolverine or something where adamantium was able to hurt Shadowcat, so I figured it was like Impulse's phasing power and Doom could alter his molecular structure to deal with him as if he were solid, kinda like what Doomsday did to the energy guy in Death of Superman. In short, I was guessing. )

>>>>Ah... I see. Well, I'm a big X-Men fan so let me just give a spiel about how Kitty Pryde's powers work. I've got too much free time and have nothing better to do at 11pm. Both Impulse and Shadowcat vibrate their molecules, but in different manners.
Bart's molecule vibrate at super-speed making his body unstabble. Basically his molecules are bouncing back and forth so fast that they push themselves through other molecuse. And they never stop vibrating. That is why people still feel his presence when he runs through them. They feel the vibrations.
Kitty Pryde on the other hand basically moves her molecules so that she more or less becomes a sort of energy. She does need to vibrate her molecules, but only enough to be ghost like. Once she has become intangible, the vibrating stops. They are connected enough to create the appearance of a form, but not enough to be on the physical plane. That is why Kitty could phase through people without them taking note.
The reason adamantium effects Kitty while phasing is because they are already different on a molecular level. Adamantium's molecules are so tight together that other molecule can't move around it. While Kitty can push her molecules around Adamantium, it hurt her like hell, because she was trying to basically push a golfball through a keyhole.
As I understand it one would need Kitty to be solid in order to develope an immunity to her powers. Otherwise since they can't really connect one molecule to another, they can't adjust to it. Because all the other person feels is one individual molecule. Normally the only way people can take down Kitty while intangible is cutting off her air supply. She might be intangible, but she still needs to breath. But of course, this is all thinking in terms or real life physicis as oppose to comic book phyisics that don't always do the research. (That's why there are so many debates on how certain powers work like Nightcrawler's teleportation and the Scarlett Witch's control of probability).
It's really complicated, but this is how her powers would more or less work in reality. I got all this information from a book called 'The Science of the X-Men.' It explains exactly HOW the X-Men powers would be possible in means of genetics and phsycics if real humans could sustain having such powers.
Which reminds me. Exactly what two people are Doom made from. I'm guess the Hulk, but who else? Doomsday? Cause I don't remember either being able to adapt to such powers. Again, I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just trying to understand what's going on.<<<

(Doomsboy actually, basically the same deal. I figured if he could deal with energy as if it were solid, he could deal with Shadowcat's powers. I actually did take a look at that book in class, but I digress. The way I was figuring it is that Doomsday automatically evolves beyond whatever kills him or in some cases threatens his life, but if he were intelligent enough, he'd be able to trigger the evolution at will, and by extension Doomsboy. And he'd be given the intelligence to do it by Bruce. Since he knows that if Crow solidifies it would conceivably kill him, he could possibly survive depending on how his brain works not even mentioning the Hulk get angry Hulk get stronger deal but, I figured his body would try to find some way to deal with Crow as a solid as a means for his own survival. Now that's what I was thinking before, here's possible explanations now if I'm totally wrong. Cadmus Operations (Project Cadmus/ International Operations) said they supposedly were helping Doom, possibly boosting his power. Or since Rage's warning is going off of what Doom himself is thinking, Doom could have thought that he'd be able to adapt to Crow's powers. And my favorite option, as a means of survival, Doom's bones become adamantium, or something similar so that he can hurt Crow. And Doom should be faster than Crow so, conceivably (hm been using that word a lot) Doom could move out of the way as soon as Crow's hand solidifies and attack whatever's solid. And last thing, you don't mean to be difficult...bah! Making me do all this thinking 1:00 in the morning, for shame Alan, shaaaaame j/k )

>>>You're having to think? >GASP!< I'm a baaaad boy... LOL. Not my fault though! You are the one responding to my insane and over analyitical posts. I'm not making you responde tonight you know... LOL. j/k. This is what happens when I can't sleep. I start getting all deep and argumentative... Damn sleep deprevation....
The problem I having is understanding how Doom can adapt to something that he can't feel or fully understand. With Superman, Doomsday's body felt the attacks and thus his body could adapt. But with Phasing, there really isn't anything to adapt too. Only stray molecules that aren't enough to understand and to build a defense against. Even if Doom's powers have been strengthened, he really doesn't have anything to adapt to since Crow isn't exactly there. Even with the intellect to understand HOW Crow's power works, he his body can't adapt to what it can't experience.
Yeah, Doom is faster, but Crow is positioned to where, if Doom moves, he moves with Doom. He's walking on Doom. Literarely. (Remeber Kitty can walk on air particals which are constantly moving. If she can walk on air, then Crow connected to Doom's body makes sense.) He had to walk on Doom's own body molecules in order to get high enough to reach Doom's skull. I mean, Doom is giant tall, and Crow is only 5'7. So Crow had to 'walk on' Doom to reach his head. More or less, Crow's body is connected with Doom's. Where Doom goes, Crow goes unless he himself decides to break away. (This I learned for reading stories with Shadowcat in X-Men and Excalibur. She did this sort of stunt against a Sentinel once or twice.)
And I'm not certain how Doom could survive having a junk of rock literally lodged into his brain. I mean, the minute that it solified it would destroy all brain functions.
Hm... I'm not exactly making this easy am I? I'm really sorry, but this is what happens when I can't sleep. I overanalyze things to an insane level. Damn! And I just know that I'll end up falling asleep in class tomorrow... <<<

(Ya know what, I'm tired, so I'm going to finish the if I'm right section of this tomorrow, or if you want to be technical, later today....There is one slight thing, let's say you're right, and Crow let's go of the rock and Doom dies. One, not a very superhero thing to do. Two, there was never an official time limit on how long it takes Doomsday to come back to life. And three, who knows how Cadmus tweaked Doomsboy's abilities when he was created, just things to think about....Oooooh for robbing me of my sleep Crow is ssooo gonna get it when I figure out how lol. Slight questions though, how can Crow, walk on air particles and on Doom's particles, when he isn't there. And as I said I'll finish this tomorrow, but unless the phasing in and out is like literally instantaneous, considering Doom knows it's coming, from what I've seen in the cartoons it's a very quick fade, and so technically in mid phase, he could get out of the way. And I leave you with that, along with one of the Keepers concievably having a weapon that could attack whatever plane of existence Crow is in. Good night! lol ;D)

>>Ya, killing a villian isn't very super-heroic for Robin, but Shadowcat is much more willing to take leathal force against an enemy. She's killed before and is willing to do it again. She was trained by Wolverine, and Logan has never had a problem with killing. Niether does she. And you're spliting hairs in relationship to Kitty walking on air partical. Yes, she's there and at the same time she isn't. When Kitty makes her body intangible she has no weight, she is able to solify her own molecules enough to to be ona lighter molecular plane than air particles. That makes her able to walk on air or on other molecules such as Doom's. Kitty can adjust excatly HOW intangible she wants to be and what part of her body she wants to be intangible. If she want's she could make one hand tangible while the rest of her in in phase mode. The cartoons always water down the abilities of X-Men, not to mention the version that X-Men Evolution had of Shadowcat was a child version. The Shadowcat in the comics though has learned the full extent of her abilities to such a level that her natural state has become intangible. As for getting out of the way, how can he escape from something that he can't see or feel? Crow in behind Doom and and in complete phase mode. He so much as twitches and Crow will instantly release the rock inside his head. Kind of hard to escape from something you can't anticipate.<<<

(So does mine lol. So I will give you a nod of respect and say that Doom's death time will be relatively short, allowing him to adapt to Crow's power, and that's what Rage is warning him about. *passes out from brain overuse*)

>>>But how can Doom adjust to his power? It isn't like a normal physcial attack. I can understand adjusting to energy blasts and strength attacks, but I don't understand how he can adjust to phasing. And you're assuming that Crow will KILL Doom. Remember, there are alot worse things than death that someone can do... Especially when one has powers to move in and through mountains... ;D<<<

(What Crow said he would do was let go of the rock and kill Doom, so that's what we're going by. Now Doom's powers are that if someone kills him he comes back evolved beyond whoever killed him. The problem we're having is that we're comparing the logic of Doomsday's powers to the logic of Shadowcat's. As much as I like Doomday, his technical power makes no sense, nor do a lot of things about him, he has "no internal organs", which would include a brain, but while Doomsday isn't a genius, he does have some intelligence which shouldn't technically be possible. I just wasn't going to go there. So we have to assume that if someone threatens his life, and in this case kills him then he'll come back evolved beyond the person. Now...if you take him down without killing him, which would be difficult, even for Crow, yeah, that would work, as a matter of fact that's how Doomsday's been dealt with ever since Superman killed him that first time.)

>> Doomsday has no organs? Then how can he live, act and move? Even Clay-face has organs, only his just mutate along with his body. Hm... Well, even then I have a plan in which Crow CAN stop Doom, even if only temporarily and giving the team enough time to get him put into custody. (It won't kill him, but it will take him out of the game for a bit). But I will wait until the others have posted. Let them all get their licks in before hand. Assuming of course they post soon... <<

(You're telling me, I don't take it too well when people stop posting in stories. Check out "ATTACK!" in YJ/Main Hall to see what happens when me and a couple other people get bored waiting for people to post. And yes that is a threat to those who haven't posted. *shakes whip cream can* Don't let Brazil get it, cuz it will ;D, Oh, and before I forget, don't forget that Doom was sent there by an organization to take you back there for a reason, that will be important *hint hint nudge nudge wink wink* >.> )
